Mental Health Support Specialist

As a Mental Health Support Specialist with Catholic Social Services, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with complex emotional and behavioral needs. You will be responsible for utilizing your organizational and leadership skills to supervise a team of professionals and provide crisis support, case planning, and training.

This is a temporary contract position that requires flexibility, including on-call hours. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with emotional and behavioral needs, as well as supervisory experience. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The key requirements for this role include:

  • LPN registration with CLPNA
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with emotional and behavioral needs
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex and high behaviors
  • Supervisory experience is considered an asset
  • Valid First Aid and CPR is considered an asset
  • Child Intervention Record Check
  • A vehicle and valid class 5 driver's license - requirement to visit clients' sites in your personal vehicle
