Job Description

We are seeking an Android Software Engineer to join our team of digital broadcasting experts. As a key member of our over-the-top platform team, you will ensure the smooth execution of product front-end development and coordinate technical work required to deliver requested features.

Responsibilities

  • Design and modify reusable components for Radio-Canada's digital platforms;
  • Ensure compliance with standards and control quality throughout project execution;
  • Stay informed of new trends in digital development;
  • Propose solutions to challenges encountered;
  • Participate in Agile Scrum activities to review ongoing production projects;
  • Develop user stories for various products;
  • Evaluate developed applications for high loads;
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and application deployments;
  • Conduct code reviews and solution deployments.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience;
  • At least 3 years of software development experience;
  • Experience in developing complex mobile applications;
  • Proficiency in Android Studio, Git, and Kotlin language;
  • Experience in publishing applications on Google Play;
  • Experience in code review context (pull request).
