Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex IT and Business projects, focusing on milestones, deliverables, budgets, resources, and key stakeholder relations.
- Work closely with Product Owners and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and project goals.
- Be accountable for project results and responsible for the entire project lifecycle.
- Maintain and manage relationships and dependencies with other functional groups and corporate project managers.
- Ensure plans are in place to address risks and manage re-baseline activities effectively.
- Control project scope and objectives using a mix of agility and change management processes.
- Identify, manage, and control project budgets, ensuring financial alignment with project goals and corporate governance standards.
- Provide strong status reporting and manage expectations, communicating any deviations, impediments, risks, or concerns to the PMO.
- Share, promote, and mentor team members on best practices and lessons learned.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role within the IT industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proven ability to address complex problems with innovative, critical thinking and develop effective solutions.
- Experience mentoring and leading project teams, with a track record of fostering professional growth and development among team members.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
