**Job Title:** Early Childhood Assistant - Child Development Support

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Learn N'Play Chilcare Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing songs, and taking children on outings to local points of interest.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and assist with housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Support the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits among children.

**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-6 months of experience in a similar field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Punctuality, dependability, and flexibility.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

**Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift 20 kg occasionally. Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work may be required.

**Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a candidate who values honesty, creativity, and reliability. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.

**Salary:

$22-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
