About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at STE ROSE SHOPEASY. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling and Sales
    • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
    • Handle cash, credit card, and debit card payments
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to store revenue growth
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
    • Offer product recommendations and suggestions to customers
    • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Store Operations
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment
    • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
    • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
    • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
    • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support for Youths
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
    • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
    • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees
    • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
    Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
