Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ste Rose IGA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and perform other tasks as assigned by management
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggest products to customers to increase sales
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
