Class 3 Truck Driver

At Loraas Disposal North Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Class 3 Truck Driver to join our team in the Saskatoon district. As a Rear Garbage Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of a truck while driving to residential locations to pick up organics and recycling with a driver helper. The driver then proceeds to subsequent customers until the truck has a full load, and then dumps the load at a transfer station before continuing customer pickups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of vehicles
  • Daily inspection of Trucks and accurate completion of related paperwork
  • Excellent Customer Service

Requirements:

  • Class 3 driver's license (Newly licensed drivers welcome to apply)
  • Clean CVOR and Abstract
  • Front Load Driving experience an asset
  • Equipment Operation (i.e., Forklift) experience an asset.
  • 2-3 years of Class 3 driving experience preferred.

Competitive Incentives:

  • $3,000.00 Retention Bonus(with stipulations)
  • Rate: $25.00/hourly
  • Full time, with benefits

As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two-week period of their hiring date.
