Class 3 Truck Driver

At Loraas Disposal North Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Class 3 Truck Driver to join our team in the Saskatoon district. As a Rear Load Garbage Truck Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of a truck while driving to residential locations to pick up organics and recycling with a driver helper. Your duties will include driving to subsequent customers until the truck has a full load, dumping the load at a transfer station, and continuing customer pickups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of vehicles
  • Daily inspection of Trucks and accurate completion of related paperwork
  • Excellent Customer Service

Requirements:

  • Class 3 driver's license (Newly licensed drivers welcome to apply)
  • Clean CVOR and Abstract
  • Front Load Driving experience an asset
  • Equipment Operation (i.e., Forklift) experience an asset
  • 2-3 years of Class 3 driving experience preferred

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $25.00/hourly
  • Retention Bonus of $3,000.00 (with stipulations)
  • Full-time position with benefits
  • Monday to Friday, 4am – 8am start time (Stat Holidays as required)
