Teaching Opportunities in Burnaby

Burnaby School District is seeking qualified teachers to join our team as Teaching On Call (TTOC) staff. As a TTOC teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools and grade levels, supporting learners and contributing to a caring and inclusive community of educators.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education degree (Elementary or Secondary) including a relevant teaching methodology course; or academic equivalent
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Practicum reports and/or teacher evaluations (if available)
What We Offer
  • TTOC Salary Range: $59,711 to $98,085 per annum based on Teachers' Salary Grid
  • Placement on salary scale will be determined by years of experience and qualifications in accordance with collective agreement
  • Opportunity to sign up for benefits as per the Teachers' Provincial Collective Agreement
