About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Circle K. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping, and mopping the floor.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure that all customers have paid for their purchases and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Environment

As a Retail Sales Associate at Circle K, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods and move around the store to perform your duties.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
