Job Title: Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Overlander Sports Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and debit payments.
  • Operate a cash register and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Assist in displaying merchandise and maintaining sales records for inventory control.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, and provide advice on products and services.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the retail industry.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, specifically Lightspeed.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour workweek.
Working Conditions:

The Sales Associate will work in a retail store environment, with regular exposure to sports equipment and clothing.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
