About the Role

AFL is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Skilled Labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to construction and utility work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive or operate construction equipment as required and when licensed and authorized.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments.
  • Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment assigned for use.
  • Set up worksites as directed by foreman or manager, including flagging, opening manholes or services boxes, and using gas detectors.
  • Follow directions and instructions assigned by the foreman or manager.
  • Perform landscaping-related duties.
  • Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL.

Requirements

  • Previous utility or construction experience is an asset.
  • Able to work in all temperatures and climates and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to travel to various site-based projects if required.
  • Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 Driver's License.
