Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of injection moulding machine operators, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our moulding machines, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae to ensure accurate material usage.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
  • Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
  • Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products, following formulation cards to mix resin batches for the injection moulding process.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to optimize production and quality.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in injection moulding or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude are required.
