Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Machine Lead Operator to join our team at Ontario Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection moulding machines, ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to optimize production.
  • Weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae to ensure accurate material composition.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
  • Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
  • Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products efficiently.
  • Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for the injection moulding process.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure smooth production.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to optimize production.
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, and attention to detail.
  • Dependability, reliability, and team player skills.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
