Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to support their growth and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, singing, and outings, to foster creativity and learning.
  • Support early childhood educators and supervisors in record-keeping and administrative tasks.
  • Encourage children to express themselves through art, drama, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Stay up-to-date with licensing regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support for children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma.
  • Experience in early childhood education is an asset.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
Work Environment:

Care and Fun Childcare Limited offers a permanent position with 30-40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
