Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of product specifications to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation, update, and maintenance of specification documents for both new and existing products.
- Create and maintain Quality Attribute Sheets (QAS) based on customer requirements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regular updates.
- Conduct annual nutrition validation process to confirm compliance with various legislative requirements across regions.
- Maintain customer specification documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and up-to-date information.
- Ensure that the specification database is up-to-date, organized, and accessible for audits or inspections.
- Monitor and track external and internal product changes, ensuring that any required specification or label updates are accurately documented and implemented.
- Ensure that all changes to specifications are documented and communicated effectively to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all specification reviews, QAS updates, and nutrition validation.
Requirements
- Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology, regulatory or other quantitative discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in food safety, regulatory compliance or supplier management within food & Beverage Company or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory information to ensure supplier compliance with local and international laws.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience working in a GMP environment.
- Ability to utilize applications for Microsoft Office for support, reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work around problems and come up with creative solutions.
- Oriented towards a continuous improvement culture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
