About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Addiction and Mental Health services in the Saint John area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, effectiveness, and accessibility of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with psychiatry co-leads to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in strategic planning for Addiction and Mental Health services
  • Nurture a healthy and safe work environment
  • Oversee the development and implementation of operational plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and safety of services
  • Prepare and manage budgets
  • Lead regional initiatives and programs
  • Monitor and report on performance indicators
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a health leadership position
  • Master's degree in business or health care management or a degree in an affiliated healthcare profession with specialized training in business/management
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
