We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Nick's Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
