About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Inventory Analyst to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of daily production yield reporting by validating that all production information has been correctly transacted in SAP.

As a key member of our Finance team, you will interact frequently with people in various levels of the organization, including production teams, to investigate and resolve discrepancies in daily process order transactions. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to improve the efficiency of the investigation/resolution execution process.

You will also work closely with the production team to understand variances and required resolutions, and run daily performance reports to validate completeness of transactions and financials accurately reflect actual performance on the floor daily.

This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing and costing processes, as well as experience in an ERP environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate daily production yield reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in daily process order transactions
  • Work closely with production teams to understand variances and required resolutions
  • Run daily performance reports to validate completeness of transactions and financials
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a finance/business/data analytic related program
  • Manufacturing/costing experience in an ERP environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with SAP is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office
