Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, taking into account seasonal fluctuations and menu changes.
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is acted upon, driving continuous improvement.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and menu offerings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
