Fish Processing Labourer Job Description

At Baie Ste Anne Seafoods (2014) Inc., we are seeking a reliable and physically capable Fish Processing Labourer to join our team. As a Fish Processing Labourer, you will be responsible for unloading fish and shellfish from fishing vessels and transporting them to the work area. You will also use a forklift to transport unloaded fish and shellfish, condition fish filets for wrapping or freezing, and perform various other tasks related to fish processing.

Work Environment

The work environment will be noisy, with odours present due to the fish processing activities. You will also be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, as well as wet and damp conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong physical presence, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
