Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at MPE Engineering Ltd.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Engineer to work on a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical system design, installation, and commissioning, as well as experience with AutoCAD and Revit drafting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including power distribution and emergency backup systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical system designs and installation plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and project teams.
  • Conduct site visits to validate adherence to specifications and design.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, such as electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical engineering, including experience with AutoCAD and Revit drafting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical system design, installation, and commissioning, including power distribution and emergency backup systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
