Electrical Engineer - Commercial and Industrial

MPE Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including power distribution, emergency backup systems, and electrical system modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design drawings and specifications.
  • Provide technical input and direction to junior staff and support the execution of detailed design, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Conduct site visits to validate adherence to specifications and design.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical design and consulting.
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit drafting, as well as electrical system modeling software.
