Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter, Construction to join our team at Mustang Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, demonstrating attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, utilizing drywall taping/patching techniques.
  • Mix paint to desired colour and texture, applying it efficiently using brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting methods.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, attaching rigging as needed to ensure safe working conditions.
Work Environment and Conditions

You will be working primarily outdoors, with regular exposure to heights, confined spaces, and potentially hazardous materials such as sandblasters. Your ability to distinguish between colours and your physical stamina will also be essential.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Valid Work Term: Permanent.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $35,000 to $45,000 per year, based on experience and location.
