Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and manage food costs, supplies, and labour expenses.
- Supervise and instruct cooking staff, including specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and functions.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and consult with clients regarding menu planning and food quality.
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
- Food Safety Certificate.
