As a key member of our dynamic Real Estate team, you will be responsible for negotiating, leasing, and managing our National Ancillary Real Estate portfolio. This portfolio encompasses over 150 properties, requiring collaboration with national retailers, leasing vacant spaces, and optimizing our real estate holdings.

Duties:

  • Maintain, review, and execute the Quebec and Atlantic portfolio
  • Develop relationships within the real estate community, including Landlords, Developers, Retailers, and Investors
  • Negotiate real estate deals, including sale agreements, leases, lease renewals, lease terminations, and amending agreements
  • Liaise with operators, landlords, and internal real estate teams to resolve site-related issues, such as maintenance/repair problems, tenant issues, and construction-related matters
  • Travel our Eastern network to visit dynamic sites and understand market potential for leasing

Requirements:

  • Entry-level position, but greater than 1 year of Real Estate-related experience preferred
  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a university degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
  • Leading-edge skills in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create executive-level presentation decks describing real estate projects
  • Able to work with diverse personalities and styles, communicate clearly in written and verbal formats, and in one-on-one or group situations
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to make supportable decisions
  • Sound knowledge of lease documents and retail market trends
