Job Title: Portfolio Manager Real Estate Finance

As a Portfolio Manager in National Bank's Real Estate Finance Group, you will play a key role in analyzing and structuring real estate financing deals. Your expertise will have a significant impact on the organization's success.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with fellow account managers to analyze complex portfolio files, prepare financing offers, and conduct negotiations.
  • Negotiate financing terms with the credit department and customers/prospects.
  • Assist in implementing, renewing, and reviewing complex files with account managers.
  • Review expert documents, including cost and environmental consultants, lawyers, and SCHL contacts.
  • Ensure the quality of the portfolio is maintained and identify risks inherent in the sector's activities.
Your Team:

The Real Estate Finance group is part of the Commercial and Private Banking sector. Our mission is to support major players in the real estate industry with interim construction financing projects and long-term financing of high-quality assets. We are a highly motivated and focused team, committed to expanding the market in Western Canada.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in real estate financing and commercial credit.
  • Relevant experience in customer service and negotiation.
  • Experience in business development is an asset.
  • Knowledge of products and services for businesses.
Language:

English and French are the required languages for this role. You will need to work closely with colleagues outside of Quebec.
