Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Vistra Fund Services (Canada) Inc. in a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Perform administrative and office activities as required.
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an investment company or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to staff members.
