mdf commerce Inc. is an international team of experts who develop SaaS solutions to optimize commercial interactions of B2B and B2G customers.

We are looking for a Software Architect to contribute to our development team.

About the role

In this role, you will contribute to various dev projects within the strategic sourcing division to solve architectural challenges.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to dev projects to solve architectural challenges.
  • Support the re-architecting and transitioning to the Cloud of modules and services.
  • Design and participate in the programming of key or complex segments.
  • Support the development manager in the definition and implementation of the business unit's technological roadmap.
  • Accompany and guide business analysts in the analysis and definition of needs.
  • Conduct studies and make technological recommendations.
  • Develop and apply conceptual and logic models.
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination and provide required support.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure quality, performance, and continuous improvement of systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
  • 10+ years of programming experience.
  • Experience designing robust, scalable, and highly available infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of development tools and environments.
  • Experience working with SaaS, web application infrastructure, and AWS cloud applications.
  • Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with microservice and micro frontend architectures.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages and databases.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  • Time and priority management.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Fast learner, highly motivated, and responsible.
  • Bilingual (French/English).
