Job Summary

iLoad Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods across international routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of cargo.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience an asset
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Environment
