Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexibility.
  • Reliability.
  • Hardworking.
  • Patience.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may be exposed to hazardous materials.
