Role Overview

The Chief Financial Strategist plays a crucial role in providing senior level financial analysis, management reporting, and decision support to assist the organization in making informed decisions through a business partnering approach.

  • Lead on development and maintenance of forecasts for revenue, earnings, working capital, cashflows (short term and long term), and bank covenants for distribution to senior leadership team, shareholders, and lenders.
  • Participate in the annual budget process, including preparation of operating and capital budgets, baseline earnings, working capital, cash flow, and other complex analyses, as required.
  • Provide business and financial insights to all business functions and product lines, monitoring and communicating performance to plan and reviewing trends and variances with managers and leaders.

This hybrid role requires 1-3 days per week in office, offering a highly competitive compensation package including comprehensive health benefits plan, Group RRSP, performance bonus, health and wellness benefit, education sponsorship, and four paid days for community service. Based on the required skills and qualifications, we estimate an annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000 CAD.
