Job Description for Child Care Provider at Andrea Baron

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Provider to join our team at Andrea Baron. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to children.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and assist with personal hygiene and social development.
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, and assist with homework and other activities.
  • Establish a daily routine that promotes learning and development, and engage in activities that stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English or French.
Working Conditions:
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
