Master Fibreglass Boat Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Fibreglass Boat Technician to join our team at Coastline Adventures Inc. As a key member of our boat assembly department, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting fibreglass boats to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fibreglass boat assembly, with experience working in a similar role or trade.

As a Master Fibreglass Boat Technician, you will work closely with our experienced team to assemble and inspect boats, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. This will involve:

• Caulking decks and hulls
• Inspecting assembled boats for defects and conformance to quality standards
• Marking defects to be repaired
• Sanding, trimming, grinding or cleaning products into final form using hand tools
• Screwing, clipping, gluing, bonding, welding or otherwise assembling parts and components to form final products
• Cutting, shaping and fitting materials to form parts and components

You will also be required to work safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• No degree, certificate or diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in a related trade or field
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a noisy, dusty environment
• Good physical stamina, including ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, manual dexterity and attention to detail required. You will also need to be able to handle heavy loads and work in a noisy, dusty environment.
