Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Boat Construction Specialist to join our team at Coastline Adventures Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and constructing high-quality boats using fibreglass materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Caulk decks and hulls to ensure a watertight seal
  • Inspect assembled boats for defects and conformance to quality standards
  • Mark defects to be repaired
  • Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools
  • Screw, clip, glue, bond, weld or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products
  • Cut, shape and fit materials to form parts and components
Working Conditions

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, odours, and dust. You must be able to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in boat construction or a related field
  • Degree in a relevant field (not required)
  • Strong understanding of fibreglass materials and construction techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
