We are seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Day & Night, providing exceptional inpatient care to patients in the Yukon Territory.
Key Responsibilities- Provide adult medical inpatient care at Whitehorse General Hospital, including the Medical Unit, Surgical Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Mental Wellness Unit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records, adhering to Yukon Hospital Corporation policies and clinical standards.
- Collaborate with the hospitalist team to ensure continuous coverage and support for patients admitted to the service.
- Work closely with external specialists, as needed, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Must be licensed by the Yukon Medical Council to practice medicine in Yukon.
- Must demonstrate a Certificate of the College of Family Physicians.
- Must have current curriculum and certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
- Competitive daily rate of $2760 through an alternate payment arrangement (APA) for 12-hour shifts.
