About the Opportunity

As a Project Coordinator for IT and Healthcare Projects, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IM/IT Program Manager and Project Managers in delivering high-quality projects. Your primary responsibilities will include providing organizational support, coordinating project activities, and preparing documentation and communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prepare project documentation, including agendas, meeting minutes, decision requests, and various logs
  • Contribute to requirements, risk, schedule, and change control processes
  • Support project managers in their tasks and activities

You will work closely with management and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects. In this full-time professional role, you will be responsible for following standard policies and procedures and prescribed guidelines and industry standards when completing duties.

About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who has a strong understanding of project management concepts and principles. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Health-Related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of project coordination/administration experience, preferably within IT/Healthcare
  • Experience with healthcare information systems and terminology is an asset
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or organizational change management is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to generate innovative, practical solutions to challenging situations

The selected candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Hours and Compensation

This is a four-long assignment, full-time position with a salary range of $29.91-$37.38 per hour. The assignment length is approximately 36 months, subject to change. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
