Job Summary

Lordco Auto Parts is seeking a skilled 5-Ton Truck Driver to join our Kelowna Distribution Center team. As a key member of our warehouse and transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts and accessories to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and maintain inventory in the warehouse
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status and provide excellent customer service
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Sort freight at the crossdocking facility
  • Drive company vehicle to deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers
  • Maintain daily vehicle logs and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 license (Class 3 is an asset)
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck and operating forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Manual and powered forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset
  • Clean drivers abstract preferred
  • Dangerous goods experience is an asset
  • Electronic log usage is an asset
  • Great people skills and ability to integrate with multiple teams
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
