Sessional Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing

North Island College is seeking a qualified Sessional Instructor to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students in the practice course NUR 276: Consolidated Practice Experience II.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and prepare learning materials for instructional environments
- Teach in assigned subject areas and include all required subject matter or skill activity
- Direct student learning in a positive, supportive, and caring environment
- Communicate clearly in writing learning outcomes for programs and courses
- Design and conduct evaluations or appraisals of students
- Registered Nurse with Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred
- Experience teaching adults, preferably at the post-secondary level
- Current registration with BCCNM (inclusive of Criminal Record)
- Current CPR level HCP
- Experience with Indigenous health and/or global health
- Experience using a variety of creative and motivating approaches to stimulate learning
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
