Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, low-latency, high-availability, and maintainable multimodal frontend applications that enrich customer experiences on screen-based Alexa devices.
- Independently design external-facing APIs to facilitate communication between different developer and device interfaces.
- Collaborate with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building reusable UX components or libraries.
- A strong understanding of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
- Experience building scalable, distributed, front-end experiences.
- Experience in agile software development methodology.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
