About Sanctuary AI

Sanctuary builds humanoid robots and a novel control system that integrates symbolic logic and reasoning with data-driven robot foundation models.

We use our robots to collect vision, audio, touch, and proprioception data from the perspective of the robot while they perform real-world work tasks. This data is used to train multimodal robot foundation models.

Your New Role

Sanctuary AI seeks an exceptional Applied Researcher, Dexterous Manipulation to join their team in engineering and innovating unique robotic manipulation tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select state-of-the-art approaches and design training and data-collection pipelines for Reinforcement Learning (RL) and Imitation Learning (IL) algorithms.
  • Test these algorithms in real-world settings and deploy them on physical robots.
  • Improve existing implementations of RL/IL learning pipelines regarding sample efficiency, speed, computational resource usage, and scalability.
Requirements
  • PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Math, or equivalent work experience in ML.
  • Experience with computer vision systems and development with Python 3.
  • Strong leadership skills in organizing R&D work for ML projects.
