Boom Truck Operator

At Slegg Building Materials, we are seeking a skilled Boom Truck Operator to join our team in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
The successful candidate will have a valid Class 1 driver's license with air brakes endorsement and a minimum of two years of experience as a Boom Truck Operator.
We offer a competitive salary of $31.50 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including extended health care, dental coverage, and life insurance.
As a Boom Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a boom truck to transport roofing and building envelope materials to construction sites. This will include driving and operating the vehicle, completing pre-trip inspections, verifying load security, and ensuring cleanliness of the truck interior and exterior.
You will also be required to communicate effectively with customers and other trades on construction sites, and maintain a high level of customer service and safety standards.
