The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Implementation Architect to join our team at Challenger. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to protect our information systems and technologies.

As a Cybersecurity Implementation Architect, you will oversee the implementation, operation, support, and protection of our information systems and technologies across multiple companies under one entity. You will work closely with internal teams to integrate security controls seamlessly into existing infrastructure and applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing complex cyber defense solutions in diverse environments
  • Conducting thorough assessments of our environments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies for mitigating cyber risks
  • Architecting and deploying comprehensive defense mechanisms, including next-generation firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on cybersecurity best practices, incident response, and threat mitigation strategies
  • Implementing and helping enforce the NIST Framework
  • Staying abreast of emerging cyber threats and industry trends to continuously enhance our cybersecurity posture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field; Cyber Security specialty a strong asset
  • 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cyber operations and architecture
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex cyber defense solutions in diverse environments
  • Proficiency with industry-leading cybersecurity tools and platforms, with a deep understanding of network security principles and protocols
  • Thorough experience adopting the NIST Framework within an organization
  • Experience with implementing Process and Policies aligned with Zero Trust Principles
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and mitigate security risks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
