The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Aide to join our team at Shepherd's Care Barrhead, a supportive living care facility located in the vibrant community of Barrhead, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advocacy to residents and their families to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility/transfer.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical care team to ensure resident-focused care.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Completed Bridging Modules, if required.
  • Effective reading, writing, and speaking English skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
