The Opportunity

Shepherd's Care Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at our Barrhead location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advocacy to residents and their families to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfer.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical care team to ensure resident-focused care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Completed Bridging Modules, if required.
  • Effective reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
