Site Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site management for a ground-up new build project, either commercial/industrial or mid-rise residential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the subtrades and all aspects of health and safety, scheduling, and coordination for daily site activities
  • Prepare and adhere to look-ahead schedules aligned with the master schedule for the project
  • Collaborate with the owner of the project, internal leadership, and all third-party stakeholders professionally and effectively
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and to the required quality standards
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience working with GC/CM companies in the local Toronto construction market, with direct full-cycle project experience overseeing both commercial/light industrial and mid-rise residential condo new build projects
  • Strong track record of delivering projects between $20M and $40M in value on time and on budget
  • Relevant educational background (Civil Engineering degree, CET, Construction Management, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of construction software application tools (Procore, MS Project/Office, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills
