We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at Apex Concepts Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster. They will also be required to clean and prepare surfaces, cure freshly plastered surfaces, and finish corners and angles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Finish corners and angles
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and will be required to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to work in dusty, hot, and outdoors environments
  • Ability to relocate for this position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in this field of employment
