About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Mook Fabrics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing
    • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
    • Process and store inventory in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inventory Management
    • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet business needs
  • Shipping and Fulfillment
    • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
    • Load and unload shipments to and from trucks and other vehicles
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
    • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored
  • Safety and Quality
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
    • Identify and report any quality control issues or concerns
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Skills
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
