Job Description

Dr. Ma's Laboratories Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Biochemical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for conducting quality control on programs, procedures, and control strategies, determining product specifications, and establishing new quality control programs and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control on programs, procedures, and control strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Determine product specifications, including chemical composition, physical properties, and performance characteristics.
  • Establish new quality control programs and strategies to improve process efficiency and product quality.
  • Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment to identify areas for improvement and optimize process performance.
  • Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies to determine the viability of new projects and processes.
  • Conduct research into the development or improvement of chemical engineering processes, reactions, and materials to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Design and test chemical processing and associated plants and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Oversee the construction, modification, operation, and maintenance of pilot plants, processing units, or processing plants to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on process optimization and quality control.
