About the Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Fashion Buyer to join our team at Reitmans (Canada) Limited. As an Assistant Fashion Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting our buying team in all capacities, combining your passion for fashion with your analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Product Management team in selecting programs and preparing best sellers with the Group Product Manager or Product Manager.
  • Review photo samples, labels, and ensure all advertising information is correct.
  • Update and maintain all documentation, including look books and purchase order books.
  • Create and maintain necessary information in systems.
  • Prepare and attend meetings.

Requirements:

  • University degree or College diploma in Fashion Merchandising.
  • Minimum 1 year related experience.
  • Excellent sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good understanding of competitive landscape and trends.
